Pain is WAAAY down and blister disappeared.

Yvonne burned herself on a hot oven rack while baking bread and called the FireBurnDoctor within 2 minutes. "Folks this works it is not a hoax." says Kelly

• Kelly burned her fingers on a halogen light bulb and said it "smelled like cooking meat." Her husband urged her to call the FireBurnDoctor immediately, which she did within 1 minute of the burn.  4 1/2 hours later, Kelly reported that the pain went from a 10 (on the scale of 0 to 10) to 0 in 30 minutes!

As soon as I touched it, my fingers (middle one especially) were literally frying. You could smell burned flesh. The pain was awful. My co-workers and I thought it was a joke.... It's NOT a joke!...

"...You have one more believer spreading the word."

Nora burned her arm on scalding hot water and called the FireBurnDoctor within 20 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 5 minutes later, Nora said her pain was 3-4 (on the scale of 0 to 10). One hour later, Nora called to say, "Hello this is [Nora with an update on my burn. Doing a lot better actually. Size is reduced somewhat and it's not nearly as painful as it was. My number is... Give me a call if you need anything. Thank you." When the FBD team called her right back, Nora said her pain was gone, "not even a 1, point 5."

About six hours later, Nora emailed her report: "Early this morning as I was making bagels at work some scalding water splashed my arm. Initially it hurt pretty bad and was annoying when my chef coat came in contact with the burn. Above our hand washing sink a coworker had posted the info for the BURN DOCTOR. My coworkers and I thought it was a joke for the past few months that it was posted. I decided to give it a try. I left a message. Being that it was early morning I didn't think I'd get a response until later, if at all. Less than five minutes later I received a call back. Within about 20 minutes I forgot I even had a burn. I'm older than dirt, had lots of burns and never had it heal like this.

Taylor burned her wrist when very hot cooking oil splashed on it from a pan sizzling on the stove, and called the FireBurnDoctor within 20 minutes. When the FBD team called her back 7 minutes later, she said herpain before her call was 8 (on the scale of 0 to 10), and had now dropped to 5-6. She added that she took so long to call because she had first tried splashing cold water onto the burn, then realized, “this thing hurts!” She didn’t have the number saved into her phone and had to start her computer and go to the FBD website to find it before calling, adding, "I'll definitely plaster the number everywhere now and put it into the phone.” About an hour later, Taylor called to say, “Interesting enough, the marks are fading. I can touch it. It doesn't hurt when I touch it. I still have a little sting, but nothing like it was. The three marks are fading. And the swelling is gone down. I'm so happy. Thank you." The FBD team called her back a few minutes later, to find that her pain level was now 2 and that she had kept testing it by tapping it and noticing it was still tender. Then she thought, “give it a break!" and said, “The heat felt by the other hand in proximity is gone. I've never had this kind of burn not blister. I'm older than dirt, had lots of burns and never had it heal like this. I'm so thrilled. Thank you so much! And I know from the [FBD]interview [she heard on radio] that it will continue to heal and be my normal arm. I bet you get lots of people giddy like this, especially compared to their first calls."

An hour later, Taylor emailed her report: "Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!
I called this afternoon approx: 20 minutes after receiving an oil burn while cooking. It spattered all across my wrist and kept burning and burning despite my 'home remedy' efforts to thwart it (the cold running water fix) but to no avail. Remembering FBD, I headed to my phone and realizing I could not get it via Information, I then searched my records while my computer was booting up since I had actually interviewed [FBD spokesperson] Allison on my radio show.... Finally obtaining the number via your website, I called, left the 5 items and received a call within a couple minutes. Boyfriend reports: cold water hardened the 200 degree wax!

• At 6:43 am, PST, Lily's boyfriend called Fireburndoctor 23 minutes after Lily had poured 200 degree wax over the whole back of her hand and up the arm halfway to the elbow. The pain was an 8, with immediate blistering and bleeding where several layers of skin scraped away. An hour after calling Fireburndoctor, Lily reported that she had taken the ice off and the pain had fallen to 3-4 and the bleeding had stopped.

• Lily's boyfriend emailed her report: "Hi! first let me apologize for the lateness of my reply. Thank you so much for helping. Lily is doing much better. She burned her hand and wrist by dumping 200 degree wax over it while making candles. She immediately ran cold water over it which, of course, hardened the wax effectively creating a cast, her flesh baking inside. She was in intense pain, and within minutes began blistering. She could stand the pain only by applying an ice pack. It was a little over a half hour by the time I called you. About fortyfive minutes later the pain had subsided and she could remove the ice pack. It left several small blisters, but the pain never returned. I don't know how you did it, but it didn't happen on its own, so you must be responsible!
